BODRUM - THE TURKISH RIVIERA — October 18th – October 21/22
This years post tour is being organized and run by Tour Select, a Destination Management company located in Istanbul. Tour Select is also assisting with other aspects of the conference.

On Sunday, October 18th, we take a one-hour flight to Bodrum, a seaside town along the Aegean coast of Turkey. The Bodrum peninsula was settled by the Dorian Greeks in 7th century BC. The landscape consists of fir trees, citrus groves and rocks with little fishing villages nestled into protected coves. The Kempinski Hotel is set on the sea with a commanding view of the Greek isles. This 5-star hotel offers a relaxing respite from the pressures and pace of travel, business and city life. Each and every room at the Kempinski Hotel has its own balcony or terrace to enjoy the magnificent view of the Aegean Sea. Some of the signature details of this property include a Six Senses Spa, the biggest infinity pool in the region and the finest service. After checking in, everyone will gather for dinner at the hotel and have some time to settle in.

Monday, after a buffet breakfast, there will be a ‘day-at-sea’ on board a gullet style boat. We will cruise the turquoise seas of the Bodrum coastline, visiting some of the most beautiful bays and coves. You can choose to take part in swimming and snorkelling in crystal clear waters or sit back and relax and just enjoy the stunning views. At Black Island you can bathe in the grotto where the warm mineral waters flow from the rocks and are believed to beautify the complexion. Dinner this evening will be in a local restaurant in the town of Bodrum.
Tuesday after breakfast there is free time to relax and enjoy the sunshine, or there will be an optional sightseeing tour of local scenic highlights around Bodrum including the Castle of St. Peter, the Museum of Underwater Archaeology and the ancient amphitheatre.
Wednesday after breakfast, those on the 4-day tour will go to the Bodrum airport for the return flight to Istanbul. You will arrive at the Istanbul Domestic airport at approximately 11:30am (it is a 10 minute walk to the International airport).
Individuals on the 5-day tour will board a coach for an adventure to the ancient city of Ephesus known as one of the greatest outdoor museums in the world. This was once one of the five largest cities in the Roman Empire and is one of the best preserved ancient cities in the world. The ruins that are visible give some idea of the city's original splendour, and the names associated with the ruins are evocative of its former life. The theatre dominates the view down Harbour Street which leads to the long silted-up harbour. Lunch will be served at Sultankoy – a place dedicated to protecting and developing the art of carpet weaving. You will be able to witness every step of carpet weaving from the dyeing of the yarns, obtaining silk from cocoons as well as the weaving process. Dinner will be at a local restaurant. After one night at the 5-star Izmir Hotel the tour will take the return flight to Istanbul, arriving at the Istanbul Domestic airport at 11:35 am (it is a 10 minute walk to the International airport).
